Skepta confirms release date for new MAINS x Kickers collection

Skepta has reimagined the classic Kick Hi shoes

Skepta has confirmed the release date for the upcoming MAINS x Kickers collaboration - and this is everything you need to know.

In celebration of the Kick Hi's 50th anniversary, the new collection sees Skepta's brand reimagine the classic silhouette with a contemporary twist.

The Kick Hi will be available in two colourways: dark green with off-white accents, and a 'grey snake' iteration, which is crafted with an embossed snake print in black and grey.

Finishing up the collection is a brand new silhouette for Kickers, dubbed the 'Kick Mule', which is available in tan, dark red and classic black.

It's been designed as a slip-on version of the classic boot and is crafted from soft, premium leathers and lined with faux fur.

Both shoes in the collection are finished with MAINS x Kickers brand detailing across the silhouettes, featuring on quarter tabs, aglets and fleurettes.

This summer will also see the rapper headline and curate the Big Smoke Festival, which will takeover London's Crystal Palace Bowl. He'll perform at the festival on 9 August with the likes of Central Cee and JME also on the lineup.

When is the MAINS x Kickers collection released?

To mark the release the two brands will host an event on 19 June in East London, which will be hosted by Skepta and feature a lineup of emerging talent.

Tickets for the event will be available via ballot to customers who purchase from the collection within the first 48 hours of release.
