Valar morghulis translates to 'all men must die', but we're wondering what the High Valyrian term for 'only one woman must die like an absolute boss while pissing off the Lannisters' is?
We shouldn't exactly be surprised that Olenna Tyrell has somehow managed to secure the best death in the history of Game of Thrones because since her introduction in Season 3, the Queen of Thorns has consistently been one of the best characters in the show.
To begin with, she wanted nothing to do with King's Landing and the bid to take the Iron Throne, or as she called it "that ugly chair."She also believed that her House words "Growing Strong" were the worst words in Westeros and she had enough sass to fill the Seven Kingdoms.
We still love her withering put-down of the Sand Snakes when she said to them : "You look like an angry little boy. Don't presume to tell me what I need"among countless others. All this without even mentioning how brilliant her scenes with Cersei were.
Given her history of pluck, intelligence and inability to tolerate bullshit, there was only one way that the Queen of Thorns was going to meet her maker - on her own terms.
After the Lannister forces seized Highgarden, Jaime immediately headed for a conference with Olenna.
After explaining that his 'bait and switch' tactic was inspired by Robb Stark, Jaime said that "there are always lessons in failures.” “You must be very wise by now,” Olenna instantly replied.
It's the next remark though that has got everyone in the realm talking. Wondering about how she might die, the Queen of Thorns asks about Jaime's sword, Widow's Wail, and it's previous owner Joffrey.
“He really was a cunt wasn't he?"
Cue the moment when Olenna Tyrell got everyone absolutely howling with laughter.

If that wasn't enough of a mic drop, her next remark must really piss off Cersei because the matriarch of House Tyrell has gotten the last laugh over the Lannisters.
“I’d hate to die like your son, clawing at my neck, foam and bile spilling from my mouth. Eyes blood red, skin purple. Must’ve been horrible for you, as a Kingsguard, as a father. It was horrible enough for me – a shocking scene. Not at all what I intended. You see, I’d never seen the poison work before. Tell Cersei I want her to know it was me."
Goodbye Lady Olenna, you ruled.
