The show has been renewed for a fourth and final season

Fans have been reacting to the news that The Umbrella Academy will be finishing after its next season. Since launching on Netflix in 2019, the superhero series has built up a devoted and loyal fanbase and is one of the streaming services most popular shows. But on Thursday, Netflix announced the show had been renewed for a fourth and final season.

"But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes." Many fans were left caught in two minds as to how to react to the news - reacting with excitement that the show will be returning for another series, but upset to hear it will be the final one.
