When he's not dreaming about making "babies with her (Brienne). Think of them, great big monsters. They'd conquer the world," Tormund is a very busy man. Aside from his epic music skills in the Brotherhood Without Banjos, our favourite wildling is always asking the important questions in Game of Thrones.
For example, these two passages will tell you everything that you need to know about the show.
Tormund: How many queens are there now?
Jon Snow: Two.
Tormund: And you need to convince the one with the dragons or the one who fucks her brother?
In previous seasons, Tormund has also displayed an uncanny ability to see things as they really are.
Tormund: They think you're some kind of god. The man who returned from the dead.
Jon Snow: I'm not a god.
Tormund: I know that. I saw your pecker. What kind of god would have a pecker that small?
See, he always speaks the truth which is why we're hanging on every word that he said to Digital Spy about his future.
We've already stated our reasons why the Hound's favourite mad fucker will return for Season 8, but here's what Kristofer Hivju had to say about it.
"I don't know. I honestly don't know. Somehow, I don't believe it. Somehow, it looks like it's a fall you can't survive. But people have asked me if characters like Beric and Tormund die, why wouldn't they show that? And then, in another way, it's a horrible way to end a season, by killing two people and showing that death. So they kept it in the air. But still, I don't know! He may be dead."
See, he's come up with the same reason as us. In our view, Tormund lives!
The actor also spoke about the growing "romance" between Brienne and Tormund.
"Well, you know, in Tormund's mind they are already almost together. So what he perceives... it's very different from what other people thinks she is sending out. But the Freefolk, they have this thing that they have to hunt the women, to show that they are really willing to do everything. And she wasn't an easy girl for Tormund to catch up with. So it's maybe something – a cultural phenomenon. And maybe Brienne hasn't understood what kind of guy she has in front of her yet."
See, he's persistent.
