A few weeks ago, it was announced that there were plans to bring back the beloved SM:TV Live for its 20th anniversary.
Of course, it's not the show without the holy trinity of Ant, Dec, Cat - we presume that The Corrs will be involved in some way too - but during a recent interview with the Radio Times, Ant McPartlin has said that the gang is already planning their rehearsals."I think we've just booked a studio, I think we've got some writers involved. So we're kind of at that stage really. We'll start trying to book guests and have some fun with it now," said Ant.
Deeley elaborated on what fans can expect and it's going to be very true to the spirit of the original.
"I think that the big elements of the show will be there, like Chums, Wonkey Donkey, Cat the Dog – all of those will be on there," she said.
During a chat at the BAFTAs, Ant confirmed the return of SM: TV and provided an expected time frame: "ITV have just agreed to it. They are on board now. We've had the first discussion now and it's going to be August or September next year. We can't say too much but we're getting the team back together! It'll be on Saturday morning again at 9:25!" We know that you'll be tuning in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fA4rSOOjVQY Clip via - cara23b
