Anyway, his one job was to catch Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family. He has since been in Fast and Furious 6, The Fate of the Furious, Furious 7 and was a titular character alongside Jason Statham in Hobbs & Shaw. Speculation about Diesel and Johnson's feud has run rampant for years. When Johnson received great reviews for revitalising the franchise in his first appearance, this reportedly did not sit well with Vin Diesel. During the production of The Fate of the Furious, Johnson shared a cryptic message about his fellow castmembers: “Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April, and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CKhivRAMcuw/ Reports by TMZ allege Diesel was rude to other actors, criticised their performances, and even turned up late to shoot his own scenes. His diva-like behaviour obviously rubbed the Rock the wrong way, but reports say if you rub him the right way, he turns into a diamond! The straw that broke the camel's back was when Diesel took credit for Johnson's performance in the latest instalment, claiming it was his "tough love" that pushed the acting forward. However, Johnson did not take kindly to this: “I laughed, and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that. And that I’ve wished them well.
