It isn't as if we're lacking in Batman in movies at the moment. This year's The Flash brought back Michael Keaton (and more) as the Dark Knight, and there are reportedly one or two (or maybe zero) Batmen (Batmans?) to appear in the Aquaman sequel arriving this December.
We've also got Robert Pattinson returning for The Batman Part II due in October 2025, plus we've got Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which will be more closely tied to the new Superman movie also due to arrive in 2025.

"But was building off of storylines in the Batman mythos over the last 80 years and approaching it from a new kind of perspective."
"It was very clever and there were a lot of things about it that I really loved that I wish had come to fruition. It was a really great project in the beginning. Ben had to step away for personal reasons, and I totally understood, but the time that I spent with Ben working on the project was fantastic."
"I can't really say too much other than it was fucking awesome. It was the best. It was amazing."
