Naturally once the series aired, the world of Twitter had a thing or two to say about it.
One person wrote: "I’ve stumbled on the Vardy vs Rooney courtroom drama on C4 and I’ve been sucked in. It’s like when you start snacking on tasteless Christmas chocolates which you know are awful but just keep eating…"
Another said: "Vardy vs Rooney: A Courtroom Drama…this is equally ridiculous & iconic. I love it."

A third penned: "Catching up on that Vardy vs Rooney thing on Channel 4, it’s so outrageously bad that it becomes a comedy, can’t wait to binge the whole thing."
While a fourth noted: "Anybody else watching Vardy VS Rooney. It’s actually really good keeps you hooked."

Another said: "I can't believe how hooked i am on #VardyVsRooney its only been 10 minutes."
Coleen, 36, had sensationally claimed on social media in October 2019 that Rebekah had leaked several stories to the British media, including claims the basement of her Cheshire home had flooded and Coleen was planning a return to television work.
The case became known as 'Wagatha Christie.'

Rebekah always denied she passed on the information and sued Coleen for libel, with the trial grabbing all sorts of headlines in May.
But in October, the High Court, Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in Rooney's favour and judged that she had not libelled her.
Justice Steyn said that Coleen had succeeded in establishing that the essence of the libel was "substantially true".
She also found that Coleen's reveal post was "a matter of public interest" due to "the undesirable practice of information (in the nature of mere gossip) about celebrities' private lives being disclosed to the press by trusted individuals".
Rebekah was later ordered to pay 90 percent of Coleen Rooney's legal costs after her failed libel action against her, a bill that is expected to rise to around £1.5m.
The trial has also being turned into a West End play.
