Steve-O says he is unable to save ‘dying’ Jackass co-star Bam Margera in emotional plea

Steve-O posted the message after Margera criticised Johnny Knoxville on Instagram

In an emotional online post, Steve-O has said he cannot save his former Jackass co-star Bam Margera, who he describes as "dying". Steve-O made the comments in response to a post on Instagram by Margera in which he slammed Jackass co-creators Jeff Tremaine and Johnny Knoxville. Alongside a photo showing Knoxville, Margera and Steve-O together, Margera wrote: "One arm is a best friend who had my f*****g back all along, another arm is a poser. A pro creation thief. "If Jeff Tremaine was in this photo, he would be to greedy to fit. F**k jeff. Remember I tattooed that on me long ago, Jeff? It’s because I knew who you were all along." He then added: "Steve-O much love and respect." Margera has been opening for Steve-O during his recent tour but had a falling out with Knoxville in recent years. "I hope you understand how awful that is. You say you want to have a relationship with your son, but your actions guarantee the exact opposite will happen. "I brought you on tour with me in hopes that I could get you to see what's possible for you if you choose recovery. "I've tried everything I can, but I can't force you to get honest and do the work of recovery. I wish you could know how much I've hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you're making it clear that I have no other choice. "You're dying, brother, and it sucks that I can't do anything to save you." Last year, Knoxville told Variety that he hadn't spoken to his former co-star in over a year, but hoped he would get the help he needs. He told the publication: "It boils down to: I love Bam.
