The release date for the final Fast and the Furious movie has been leaked ahead of the launch of the franchise's tenth film in cinemas.
Fast X will be released on May 19th this year as Vin Diesel - playing Dominic Toretto - and Jason Momoa take to the streets of Rome in what promises to be an adrenaline-pumping thriller.
Paul Walker is also due to feature in the film.
His character, Brian O'Conner, has been kept alive on screen using CGI and the late actor's two brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker as body doubles.
Fast X is due to be the penultimate film in the long-running and seriously successful franchise.
Appearing at a recent CinemaCon, Vin Diesel confirmed when the final movie will drop.
"This summer is only the beginning of Fast X," Diesel told the crowd.
"And with all of your effort and with all of your love and the fact that you are a part of our family, Fast X will continue.
"And after this explosive summer, I will have the privilege of coming to you for Part 2 in 2025."
Diesel was joined on stage with fellow Fast co-stars Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang.
The main star told the crowd: "Fast is now the longest running franchise in movie history featuring the same actors playing the same characters.”
He added: "This is our family, the audience is our family, and as we were building towards this achievement we attracted directors who brought their own magic to the saga.
"I'm proud to say for nearly two decades the Fast films have been the most successful film of every one of our directors."
Up until now, the final film was being referred to as Fast 11, so the idea that it's now morphed into Fast X: Part 2 means Fast X might end on a bit of a cliffhanger.
The movie will be directed by Louis Leterrier, who took over the project after Justin Lin left due to 'creative differences'.
He told Empire Magazine about what we can expect to see in the last movie in the franchise.
"There's a war brewing. It's coming to an end and it is a race to the finish," he said.
"There will be some tremendous casualties. This one is big.
"I don't want to oversell it, but what we're planning on the next one is just gigantic, in terms of action, scope and emotion.
"You will feel all the feels. Tears will roll."
