People are convinced Khal Drogo is making a Game of Thrones comeback

There's a pretty long list Game of Thrones characters that were probably knocked off a bit prematurely.

One of those was (SPOILER ALERT) undoubtedly Khal Drogo, the hulking Dothraki warlord and brief husband of Daenerys Targaryen. For all his terrifying warrior credentials, Drogo's death - which came about from what was essentially an infected scratch - was a bit crap. Thrones fans would have loved to see him go toe-to-toe with the white walkers in Westeros, but it wasn't to be, and as far as we know Drogo rode off into the Night Lands, never to be seen again. Until now. Maybe. An Instagram post from Jason Momoa, who played the Dothraki chief in the enormously popular TV show, has sparked hopeful speculation amongst fans that Drogo could be about to make a comeback in next year's seventh season. The prospect of him somehow coming back to life is, you'd imagine, a lot less likely. But given that seemingly anything goes in Game of Thrones these days (just ask Jon Snow), and they're quite literally making it up as they go - don't totally rule it out. Read more:
