Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen looks like she's sizing up to take former contestant Molly-Mae Hague's entrepreneurial crown, as some business dealings have many media outlets predicting her to overtake the Love Island alum in personal wealth. The 19-year-old Team GB dressage jockey and entrepreneur already launched a swimwear brand earlier this year but now the ex-footballer's daughter has set up another company ahead of stepping into the villa on Monday night. Case and point would be Molly-Mae herself, who since appearing on the show in 2019, has gone on to become the creative director of Pretty Little Thing, started multiple businesses and amassed a personal net worth of £4.5m, according to The Sun. Between £1.2m in profits via her company MMH Group Holdings and a reported £848,000 from her self-tanning business Filter, the 23-year-old is said to have earned over £2m during the pandemic; who knows how much she made from her 6.3 million Instagram following alone. Even those comments about "the same 24 hours" don't seem to have slowed her down. All that being said, Molly-Mae's business ventures were largely started after her appearance in the ITV reality show, whereas alongside her professional competitions, Owen seems to have already been putting together a portfolio.
