Before audiences get overly excited, ITV2 told Cosmopolitan UK that Love Island won't be back until 2018. Note the fact that they mentioned Love Island, not 'Winter' Love Island.
In fact, given the popularity of the show, it appears that producers are keen to capitalise on the public's demand for the show.
Only recently, an inside source told the Daily Star that: "'The public have shown they can't get enough of Love Island and this year has been the show's 'water-cooler moment'. ITV is really keen to exploit the massive momentum it's got at the minute and bosses are thinking really big all the time.'
We shall see.
