Over the past couple of days, there has been a lot of speculation about the return of the hit Irish crime drama Love/Hate.
This was sparked by one of its star's John Connors stating that the show was coming back and that its lead character Nidge (played by Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) was still alive.
Connors later clarified that the project he is working on is more of a spin-off about his character on the series, Patrick Ward, and that he is the only actor confirmed to return.
Given all the rumours, when JOE spoke to Vaughan-Lawlor on the red carpet at the IFTA's last night (Friday, 14 February), we had to ask him about the topic.
The actor was nominated for two awards at the ceremony, best supporting actor in a film for Baltimore and best supporting actor in a TV show for Say Nothing - the latter of which he ended up winning.
And while Vaughan-Lawlor said he knew nothing about a possible Love/Hate return - something he was very apologetic about - he did have a funny response to the rumours.
"I bet my dad 10 quid this would be the first question I was asked," he said laughingly.
This was before he added: "With respect, I won't say anything. I have nothing to add. I know nothing so I can't really give you anything. I'm sorry."
JOE also asked the actor about appearing in the upcoming, much-anticipated Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
On this, Vaughan-Lawlor confirmed that he got to watch some of the show while doing ADR (automatic dialogue replacement) work and that it "looks incredible".
He told us: "That's right... That's another one I can't really speak about because they make you sign all these non-disclosure forms.
"All I can say is, it was a lot of fun and I've seen some of it in ADR and it looks incredible.
"So, I think it's going to be very exciting."
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is scheduled to be released in late 2025 and will consist of six episodes.
Meanwhile, you can check out JOE's interview with Kneecap at the IFTAs right here.
