Kendrick Lamar joins Nipsey Hussle on new track “Dedication”

Summer has arrived, and it's only just February!

Premiered on Tuesday by Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show, Nipsey Hussle's "Dedication" has now arrived in full for us all to enjoy. Featuring Kendrick Lamar, the song, set to land on Nipsey's highly anticipated Victory Lap album, is unapologetically west coast. The on-point lyricism and laid back groove is a thing of beauty. Just imagine riding around with the top down during the summer and it being blasted out of your car speakers. Sounds perfect for that, right? Yeah, we thought so too. "I felt like [Lamar] killed it," Hussle told Lowe during their Beats 1 discussion. "He actually talked about something that happened the night of the 'Pac [biopic All Eyez on Me] premiere, if you really listen to his verse. He's talking about me, Snoop Dogg, Top Dawg, and himself, we really had a conversation about just L.A. street shit and about how the time might be right for us right now to use our influence to evolve how we exist. I wanted to take what really happened, me going back to the independent space, building the mixtape career. I wanted to use that truth and when I did go back to a major label official album debut, I wanted to represent the completion of me coming out of a bad situation, taking things into my own hands and just figuring it out."
