The sleeper action hit of 2015 (yes, yes Americans got it in 2014, hush now), John Wick was a mature action film that saw Keanu Reeves shoot A LOT OF PEOPLE because they killed his dog. Remember how The Raid was such an intense martial arts film it overloaded your nervous system, so you just sat there, laughing weirdly, unable to take in all of the action? John Wick is like that, but with Keanu Reeves doing the "Guns. Lots of guns" thing.
