Holly Willoughby’s response to Phillip Schofield labelling her a ‘witch’ amid feud fallout

This week it was reported that Schofield had accused Willoughby of not supporting him during his controversial departure from This Morning.

Schofield has been back in the spotlight following his appearance on Channel 5 series Phillip Schofield: Cast Away, which saw the presenter survive for 10 days alone on desert island.

Meanwhile, the Sun reports that Schofield labelled Willoughby a "witch" amid the fallout.

It seems Willoughby has decided the claims are not worthy of a response though, and she is choosing to remain quiet on the matter.

A source told the Sun: "Holly isn't batting an eyelid at this, it's like she couldn't care less. Phil is coming across as incredibly bitter. Holly knows who her friends are and they're the people she pays attention to."

During his appearance on Cast Away, Schofield claimed he had lost his presenting gig on This Morning because of his brother's crimes.

Last year, his brother Timothy was convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019, including two of sexual activity with a child.

Speaking to viewers on Channel 5 last week, Schofield claimed the day before his brother was sentenced he was told by his agent that This Morning were letting him go.

Following his This Morning departure, Schofield resigned from ITV after admitting to lying about having had an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague on the show.
