Here’s why Cersei and Bronn never share a scene together in Game of Thrones

Their houses won't be joining anytime soon.

Throughout the history of Game of Thrones, we've been begging to see certain characters reunited and this season didn't disappoint. For example, we saw Arya come face-to-face with her direwolf Nymeria as she headed to Winterfell for an emotional reunion with Sansa and Bran. Elsewhere, Jon Snow and his aunt really...eh-em, hit it off after they were brought together at Dragonstone and the most recent episode had a plethora of meetings. We saw scenes between Tyrion and Bronn, Brienne and the Hound, Podrick and Tyrion, but most importantly, that epic stare-down between the Clegane brothers. As the negotiations were about to start between Team Dany and Team Cersei, you may have noticed that Bronn and Podrick headed out for a drink before the talking began. Granted, we know that Ser Bronn of the Blackwater is fond of a drink, but the reason for this has nothing to do with the show. As reported by The Telegraph a few years ago, Jerome Flynn (Bronn) and Lena Headey (Cersei) used to date each other, and they reportedly had quite a messy break-up. In fact, a crew member told the newspaper that they're now kept apart on set. “Jerome and Lena aren’t on speaking terms any more and they are never in the same room at the same time. It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs, ” a member of the crew told The Telegraph.
