The Emmy Awards have been criticised as no actors of colour left with a trophy despite the plethora of established talent worthy of the honour. Amongst the usual snubs from people who disagree with the winners from last night's Emmys are huge criticisms that arose when it became apparent that no actors of colour were among the winners. Another duo from Saturday Night Live, Kenan Thompson and Bowen Yang, seemed prominent amongst the nominations and yet failed to make it to the top spot. Other people have said that Michaela Coel was snubbed for Best Actress for her portrayal of Arabella in I May Destroy You, which she also wrote and directed.
