Driving expert explains common road sign that has left people confused

Road signs are not easy to remember, thankfully, a theory test expert has put motorists' minds at ease as she explains a common sign, which people have admitted to never fully understanding. Wether you  drive - or walk - the "no return within one hour" road sign has surely enough been in your life in one way or the other but many motorist will admit to being unsure as to what it actually means. Road sign expert Annie - who has more than 776,000 followers on account @theorytestpractice - set the record straight about the lesser-known marking on popular video-streaming service TikTok.

  In a recent video, made to hep provisional license holders pass their test, the expert's clip has surpassed a whopping 644,000 views since posting as she puts the rule to bed.

She explained "I've been asked to explain signs like this one.

"This sign is saying that between Monday and Saturday, you can park between 8 o'clock in the morning and 6 o'clock at night, but only for one hour. "No return within one hour - that simply means that you're not allowed to drive out of your parking space, drive around the block, and go straight back into that parking space. "Well, not for an hour anyway," she added. In the post's caption, she clarified the rule, saying: "At other times you can park for as long as you want to." Now you know!
