Director of IT: Chapter Two promises a ‘darker, much scarier’ film

After smashing box-office records and achieving critical acclaim, it comes as no surprise to learn that IT: Chapter Two is already in preproduction and that casting is about to be made. In fact, he's extremely happy to make audiences crap themselves after encouraging grownups to "bring your adult diapers." The director was speaking at the second day of the CinemaCon convention and with regards to the plot, the film takes place 27 years after the first film, with flashbacks to the ’80s.
