Come Outside star Lynda Baron dies aged 82

The actress also starred in BBC sitcom Open All Hours

Lynda Baron, the actress best known for her roles in children's TV show Come Outside and classic BBC sitcom Open All Hours, has sadly passed away at the age of 82. Throughout the 70s and 80s, Baron starred alongside Ronnie Barker and Sir David Jason in the hit show about a Yorkshire corner shop and also featured in the show's return in 2013. She then became loved by a generation of children for Come Outside, in which she played Auntie Mabel with her famous spotty plane and canine companion Pippin. On Monday, her agent Donna French said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved client Lynda Baron. Related links:
