Turns out, ubiquitous movie star Chris Pratt doesn't want you to call him by his birth name Chris Pratt because he says it isn't his name even though his name actually is Chris Pratt. Still with us? Cool. Pratt, 43, has been known by many different names over the years - on the big screen at least. He's been Star Lord in Marvel's Guardian's of the Galaxy space adventures, raptor BFF Owen Grady in three Jurassic World movies and even Andy Dwyer, the goofy break-out star of hit comedy show Parks and Recreation and front man of rubbish rock band Mouse Rat. However there's one name that the actor doesn't seem to be too fond of - and that's his own. Speaking during a recent interview with Jessica Shaw, host of SiriusXM's Pop Culture Spotlight show, Pratt revealed that none of his friends call him by his actual birth name. "What do they call you?" asked Shaw during her chat with the star that'll be soon be providing a new voice to Super Mario in the gaming icon's upcoming animated feature debut. "Pratt?" He replied: "Yep. Pratt. CP. You know, CP. 'Hey, CP," adding "but no one calls me Chris." Pratt continued, elaborating slightly: "My friend, Chad. I went golfing with my friend, Chad, my pastor the other day and he was like, 'No one calls you Chris? I'm gonna call you Chris. Alright, Chris. You're up.' And I was like, 'No, it feels weird. It's not my name. Don't call me Chris.'" While this revelation certainly sounds fairly straightforward for Pratt to follow, it may throw a spanner in the works of the Hollywood Chris Club, a social media-created entity so called because its members - Marvel stars Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans and Star Trek's own Captain Kirk, Chris Pine - all share the same first name. As you might expect, those on social media quickly found the funny in this Chris-crossroads name debate, offering up their own suggestions as to what we can all call the Zero Dark Thirty star moving forward. "Wild Cratt" offered one. "C-Money" tweeted another, while a third added simply "Raptor Man". Meanwhile, others had a more left-field approach, suggesting titles like "Pratt Daddy", "Topher.
