Britney Spears will join James Corden for a spot of Carpool Karaoke

You've got to hand it to James Corden, he's really made a name for himself over in the States.

We used to know him as the bloke from Gavin & Stacey. No, not that one. His mate. Yeah, Smithy. That's the one. But the 37-year-old has managed to carve out a career for himself as one of the best talkshow hosts on TV today, and has taken The Late Late Show to new heights since he was given control nearly two years ago. Corden has done some great things during his time as the show's host, but by far his most successful creation has been the Carpool Karaoke segment. In case you somehow don't know, the concept is as simple as it sounds. Corden drives around in his car, singing along to the radio with some of the biggest celebrities who need to promote something in the world. And his next guest is no different, as Corden will be joined in the car by none other than Britney Spears herself. The 'Baby One More Time' singer will appear on the August 25 edition of the show, taking part in a segment that has become so popular it has earned itself a spin-off show of its own. Britney joins a long list of top stars who have appeared on the show, including The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Adele - and even Michelle Obama. Let's just hope she doesn't back out like Kanye West keeps doing. Read more:
