ITV viewers have been left fuming after the Britain's Got Talent Judges made a 'backwards' decision on Sunday evening's show.
Opera singer Innocent Masuku left the panel blown away as he performed his rendition of Lucio Dalla's Casuro.
The operatic tenor, who hails from South Africa, received top tier feedback from all 4 judges, with Amanda Holden calling him the "best opera singer" that she's ever seen on the show.
However, not a single one of the judges gave Masuku the lusted-after Golden Buzzer, which sends contestants straight through to the live shows.
Viewers took to social media to share their frustration at this.
"Should’ve been a golden buzzer if we’re being honest," one person wrote.
A second penned: "If anyone deserved a golden buzzer, it was him. Absolutely brilliant voice, finally a decent act."
"How didn't he get a golden buzzer! This show is so backwards," a third put.
"Sorry??? The best Opera singer ever seen on #BGT according to Amanda Holden but innocent didn't get a Golden Buzzer," a fourth fumed. "Now that was worth a Golden Buzzer!"
"By far the best performance of the series so far and no golden buzzer! Why am I not surprised? Innocent you were magnificent and such a lovely young man also," a fifth wrote.
Despite this outrage Masuku did still get a yes from all 4 of the judges, so he will be moving forward onto the next stage of the show.
It's not the 34-year-old's first rodeo on stage. He appears on English National Opera's website, where he is credited as currently appearing as Count Almaviva in Barber of Seville, with past credits including Remendado in Carmen and Gastone in The Dead City.
