Amber Heard has reportedly quit Hollywood and relocated to Spain.
The actress is said to have quietly moved to Madrid with her 2-year-old daughter, Oonagh.
The news comes as her ex-husband, Johnny Depp is set to become the toast of Cannes with his movie Jeanne du Barry opening the French film festival later this month, marking his full return to the movie business following the pair's protracted defamation fight.
A friend of the 37-year-old told the Daily Mail: "She’s (Amber) bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.
"I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project."
The Aquaman actress sold her home in Yucca Valley, California, in July last year for $1.1m, the Mail noted, and in October was pictured on a beach in Majorca, with girlfriend Eve Barlow.
The Mail said, at that time, it was reported Amber was living in rented accommodation on the island but has since relocated to a new home outside Madrid.
She hasn't worked since filming Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom in 2021, and thriller, In The Fire, last spring.
The Mail said it was not known if Amber and Eve were still together, as the writer is in Los Angeles. It also speculated that she had suggested the pair split, as she wrote an essay on Substack at Christmas saying she was "searching for optimism at the end of a life-altering year".
Depp, who following his court win moved to the UK, has recently been holidaying in the Bahamas with the widow of his late friend, Jeff Beck, and one of her friends.
The actor and frontman for The Hollywood Vampires is due to play on May 22 and 23 at a Jeff Beck charity event at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Depp's professional life, like Amber's, started grinding to a halt in 2018, when she wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post which indirectly accused Depp of domestic abuse, and set in motion several years of court proceedings.
Depp later decided to donate the money to charity.

Depp was ultimately awarded $10 million (£7.9m) in compensatory damages and $5 million (£3.9m) in punitive damages, later reduced to $350,000, in June last year, and Heard was awarded $2 million (£1.5m). After several appeals, in December, Heard agreed to pay Depp $1m (£823K), to bring the dispute to an end.
