Alec Baldwin sued over death of cinematographer on film set

Alec Baldwin has not publicly responded to the lawsuit

A script supervisor from Rust is suing Alec Baldwin and other producers over the accidental death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Script supervisor Mamie Mitchell was the first person to call 911 after Hutchins was accidentally shot and killed by Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin last month. She broke down in tears on November 17 as she explained why she is filing a lawsuit. [caption id="attachment_300801" align="alignnone" width="2048"] Image via Getty[/caption] The suit names 22 defendants associated with the film, including Alec Baldwin, producers, armourer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, First Assistant Director David Halls and others. She has also named six production companies, including El Dorado Pictures, Thomasville Pictures, Short Porch Pictures, Brittany House Pictures, 3rd Shift Media and Streamline Global. Mitchell claims she was left depressed and "frightened of the future" following the shooting.
