On Saturday, we told you about some of the details that have emerged from Northern Ireland regarding the massive battle that will take place in Season 8 of Game of Thrones.
We knew that Winterfell - home of House Stark - was under siege but as this video shows, the most prestigious castle in The North is about to fall.
In fact, it's about to burn to the ground.
Yes, that's right. Winterfell will burn.
The renowned website Watchers on the Wall were the first people to report on this news and they're truly the Maesters of all things related to Game of Thrones.
Naturally, the instant assumption is that Daenerys will betray Jon Snow but those flames could easily be caused by Viserion’s blue flame — like the creators have done before, normal fire could be filmed and then colour changed in post-production.
Maybe Cersei has actually done what no ruler has done in decades - marched the Southern forces into The North to fight House Stark at their stronghold?
Belfast Live confirmed that the fire is part of a huge battle scene that involves 400 to 500 extras. A fire service spokesman confirmed that they were called to the scene but 'no action was taken'.
HBO's original programming president, Casey Bloys, has previously said that the show was filming fake endings, so maybe this is part of some elaborate hoax? "I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens," he said.
Whatever the reason, it's safe to assume that House Stark is about to endure even more misery.
