Two teenage girls arrested after two men stabbed – leaving one fighting for his life

One of the victims remains in a critical condition

The men, thought to be in their late teens, were attacked on Wednesday night at a shopping centre in Orpington, south east London.

Paramedics and an air ambulance were scrambled to the scene at around 11.30pm, where the two teens were found injured near a hotel in The Walnuts.

Both were rushed to hospital for treatment and one remains in a critical condition.

The two girls, both 17, are currently being questioned by police.

A cordon has been set up around where double-stabbing took place as officers continue to investigate.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed officers, along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.

"A crime scene remains in place at the location as officers continue to carry out enquiries.

"Two girls, both aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and are currently in police custody."
