Their mother, a woman aged in her 40s who has not been named, has been released from hospital. She is currently being supported by her family and a family liaison officer.
As of late Sunday afternoon, the scene at Rossfield Estate remains preserved for a forensic examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
Post-mortem examinations on the bodies of the deceased will take place on Sunday and Monday by State Pathologist Dr Sally Anne Collis.

The man in his early 20s who was arrested in connection with the incident continues to be detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Tallaght Garda Station.
The man was arrested following an intervention by Garda Armed Support Unit members that involved the discharge of "less than lethal" devices.
The police, in describing the incident as "violent. challenging and traumatic", noted that the incident was responded to be uniform unarmed Garda first respoonders from the Tallaght District. They were supported by uniform members and armed detectives from the wider DMR South Division and Specialist Armed Support Unit members.
Welfare supports have been put in place for all Garda personnel who attended the incident.
