OnlyFans model accused of murdering boyfriend could spend life in prison

It comes after police released footage of her allegedly attacking her ex-boyfriend

OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who has been charged with the murder of her estranged boyfriend, could face life in prison. Clenney, 26, who goes by the name Courtney Tailor on her social media accounts, was arrested in Hawaii on August 10 and faces a second degree murder charge for allegedly stabbing 27-year-old Christian 'Toby' Obumseli to death back in April. She is expected to be extradited back to Florida for the trial. Police arrived at their Miami apartment to find Obumseli had been stabbed in the shoulder. He was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries. A Miami Police Department spokesperson said there was a "physical altercation" between the pair before Obumseli was stabbed. Clenney's defence attorney, Frank Prieto, claims Clenney kicked Obumseli out of the apartment she was renting a week prior to his death because of domestic abuse allegations. The attorney insists that Clenney was acting in self-defence when Obumseli grabbed her by the throat after stalking her for weeks. However in the days after his death, Obumseli's family urged police to arrest Clenney, claiming that he had not been a threat. Speaking to CBS Miami back in April, Obumseli's cousin Karen Egbuna said: "We have no cause to believe that this was a case of self-defence. Toby was raised with a, by a very strong family with strong morals, strong values, he does not come from that." Handfield has previously criticised claims that Clenney acted in self-defence, arguing that police officers were influenced by Clenney's "blonde hair and blue eyes". He also highlighted the fact that Clenney has an open warrant in California for a public intoxication case from 2015. At their most recent Miami pad, staff members had documented numerous domestic disturbance complaints about the couple and were seeking to evict them. The family's plea for justice comes after police released footage of what appeared to show Clenney attacking Obumseli.
