Britain’s meanest thief who stole iPhone woman was selling to pay for daughter’s funeral

The man snatched the phone and ran off without paying

Officers are appealing for information to help identify the man following the robbery of the phone in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The victim had agreed to sell an iPhone to a man to help raise funds to put towards the costs of her late daughter's funeral.

The victim arranged for the man to attend her home address to collect the phone and he went inside to check it worked.

But he then grabbed it from her hand and ran off without paying.
